    Kidd build update

Posted by J.W. Bruce on Feb 4th 2016

After a short email, I found out there is a small mod needed for the Kidd trigger. I had the option of doing it myself, or send it back and they would handle it at no charge. I sent it back on Monday morning, and I got it back today (Friday). The Customer Service at PMACA is outstanding.

    Kidd build

    Posted by J. W. Bruce on Jan 25th 2016

Very well made. Gave it 4 stars for fit and form. BUT, if you plan to use a Kidd receiver or a Kidd single stage trigger, find another option. It will not work. Worked great with my Elite 22 receiver, until I added the Kidd trigger.

I purchased this for my Tactical Innovations Elite 10/22 receiver. The fit was perfect! I am very impressed with the precision machining and finish of this piece. I am also impressed with the excellent communication and very fast shipping from PMACA Mfg. A very quality experience all the way around!
    Thank you,

    A fun build for a new 10/22

Posted by Glenn on Oct 5th 2015

WOW!!! What a fun project this was. I was in the mood to build something very new and different than the typical black rifle, I have plenty already. I wanted a kid friendly rifle as I teach lots of kids to shoot and this was just what I needed. I started with the PMACA chassis in blue, added a Tactical Solutions 16 1/2 fluted .920 barrel in purple, got a billet machined trigger group in purple, stainless receiver, purple grip and neon green buttstock. I topped it off with a rail and red dot optic and a bipod. My 10 year old helped with the build, his first time to do anything like this. We both enjoyed the project. The fit of the chassis was excellent. I had to just sand my trigger group a tiny, tiny bit to improve the fit, the stock trigger group dropped right in so it was a slight variation on the aftermarket trigger group I used. The .920 diameter barrel fit nicely in the stock. I did grease the threads on the buttstock extension tube before threading it in as it is aluminum on aluminum. I found the sight alignment excellent with the dot optic up on top mounted to a low profile rail. All in all it was a fun and easy project and the PMACA chassis looks well built and certainly comes in enough colors to let your mind run wild with colorful ideas. As this rifle was built with kids in mind of both genders I think it will be a hit out on the range.
