I previously purchased one of the regular chassis and was looking to build a takedown. I couldn't be happier with how the build turned out. Like all PMACA stuff this is incredibly well made and fit the bill. Shipping was fast and the service was incredible as always.
If you buy pmaca you not go wrong I have six on my 10/22 out of 13 I will buy more fast ship good people to work with good products a lot better then crazy ivan!!!!
Ping sound when the bolt closes, finish is okay. rubs off easily. Otherwise good looking chassis.
Anodize is a very hard and durable finish. Some things may rub off on to the finish leaving a residue or scuff mark. You should be able to just clean this off. If you receive a chassis that is not finished in some spot, or the anodize somehow easily rubs off , this is a manufacturing defect and the chassis can be returned for a full refund.
Unfortunately the finish on the product was poor. I wouldn’t recommend going with the black anodized.
I was very happy with the quality fit and price of this chassis. I'm already going to order another one for my rifle model but in red
This thing is beautiful! The machining is perfect. If you have a 10/22 you need one of these chassis. Once I put charger takedown together and had it out to the range, I knew I loved it! A week later I ordered another one. Highly recommend! Do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed. Customer service is as top notch as their product.
The gap between the two pieces when assembled on the gun is huge. The forend fits with no play to the barrel but the channel for the barrel is extremely off center. It will work but is very disappointing.
Based on the length of instructions I received, I was prepared for a lengthy change-over process between the original chassis and this. Things couldn't have been farther from the truth! The installation process took all of 5 minutes and now I've got an awesome little pistol-braced 10/22 Charger takedown model with a good weight and great look. I couldn't be happier with it. The one point I had an issue with was installing the cadmium ring, but once I figured out I needed an AR castle nut it went swimmingly. Love this thing.
I recently bought a PMACA chassis for my Charger takedown pistol because of my complete satisfaction with the prior purchase of one for a regular Charger.
I love the solid construction and ability to customize it to my needs.
I read good things about this so I shopped for it.It seemed to be in short supply so I went directly to PMACA's website. It seems to me they must be going out of business because they only had a VERY limited selection for sale so I purchased the blue anodized takedown stock.Shipping was average, about a week. The product lives up to it's designed function. It's light and easy to install. The finish though looks like factory seconds. A few tooling marks and the anodizing is just not pretty at all. It sure doesn't look like the pictures of customers guns on their website.I would buy it again though (if available) because it's light yet sturdy, has a picatinny rail on the forearm and I can attach a buffer tube with a brace on it.
