Description

The PMACA Takedown Chassis is made of two pieces of 6061-T6 aluminum precision machined from billet, and then anodized.   If desired the chassis can be painted with Cerakote in a number of colors.  The Ceakote ceramic coating provides additional protection as well as a selection of colors not available from anodized aluminum.

The use of the chassis allows you to use AR15 stocks, grips, and includes and integrated Picatinny rail for things like a front grip or laser or flashlight.

    Poor fit

Posted by Phillip Thiessen on Oct 30th 2019

The gap between the two pieces when assembled on the gun is huge. The forend fits with no play to the barrel but the channel for the barrel is extremely off center. It will work but is very disappointing.

    PMACA Takedown Chassis

Posted by Richard on Aug 8th 2019

Based on the length of instructions I received, I was prepared for a lengthy change-over process between the original chassis and this. Things couldn't have been farther from the truth! The installation process took all of 5 minutes and now I've got an awesome little pistol-braced 10/22 Charger takedown model with a good weight and great look. I couldn't be happier with it. The one point I had an issue with was installing the cadmium ring, but once I figured out I needed an AR castle nut it went swimmingly. Love this thing.

    Great Chassis

Posted by Brett Hilsmeyer on Jun 14th 2019

I recently bought a PMACA chassis for my Charger takedown pistol because of my complete satisfaction with the prior purchase of one for a regular Charger.
I love the solid construction and ability to customize it to my needs.

    PMACA 10/22 TAKEDOWN CHASSIS

Posted by David Caruso on Mar 20th 2019

I read good things about this so I shopped for it.It seemed to be in short supply so I went directly to PMACA's website. It seems to me they must be going out of business because they only had a VERY limited selection for sale so I purchased the blue anodized takedown stock.Shipping was average, about a week. The product lives up to it's designed function. It's light and easy to install. The finish though looks like factory seconds. A few tooling marks and the anodizing is just not pretty at all. It sure doesn't look like the pictures of customers guns on their website.I would buy it again though (if available) because it's light yet sturdy, has a picatinny rail on the forearm and I can attach a buffer tube with a brace on it.

    TOP NOTCH

Posted by Chuck on May 13th 2018

My faith in finding a QUALITY, AMERICAN product is restored. If there was hype about the 10/22 Chassis it would definitely be lived up to, and surpassed. I had to wait for my choice of product to get back in stock. It was worth the wait! The cerakote was "perfect". That's not a word I use very often. Susanna in Sales was a helpful gem of a person. Great Product! Great customer service! The only way the install could have been easier is to have someone else do it.

    Its a WINNER!

I knew the take down version was on my shopping list. Based on my original chassis purchase from a couple years ago. This version was not a let down. Fit and fish are excellent with an amazingly snug lock up. This will not be my last PMACA purchase.

    Badass

Posted by Cody on Feb 6th 2018

Bought this for my 10/22 takedown charger. Had a shockwave lying around. Fit was great. Install was simple. Only thing, my aftermarket grip didn't fit properly. I had to use a stock grip. Oh well, I still love it.

    Charger

Posted by Joe Thompson on Jan 29th 2018

Used a stainless charger. The front half was pretty tight, and the gap between shows too much of the takedown assembly. Even with those little issues, it looks awesome, and is a blast to shoot.

    Simply Awesome

This is a great chassis system. Fit and finish are perfect. I am running the OD Green with the blued tactical takedown and Magpul furniture. Mounted Holosun red dot and added Nodak Spud sights to recapture use of irons. Found a 10/22 takedown light bag on ebay (original bag with takedown doesn’t fit configuration with pistol grip) and now have great carry system. Also have the lightweight regular chassis in black and love it.

Better than I had hoped for!

Posted by A Lar on Aug 29th 2017

You all nailed a solid product, thank you! I put this build together earlier this year and finally got the chance to run several hundred rounds through it.

Out of the box the fit and finish were great and I didn't have to shave any material or paint off. Everything bolts in solid and no wiggle. The front picatinny mounts a swivel Harris bipod and/or a laser in front. I am thrilled to use this rifle finally. I would definitely use PMACA in the future if I build another 10/22.
Maybe expanding to Savage short action chassis systems
